Green Punjab Smartphone Application
Overview
The Government of Punjab has launched a mobile app called Green Punjab to help citizens report smog-related issues quickly and easily. Through this app, anyone can file a complaint against:
- People burning hospital waste or garbage
- Kilns and vehicles that produce harmful smoke
- Factories operating without proper smoke control systems
All complaints submitted through the app are immediately forwarded to the concerned departments for quick action. You will also receive updates about the progress of your complaint.
The app is connected with several government departments including PDMA, Metropolitan Corporation, Traffic Police, Parks and Horticulture Authority, Agriculture Department, and Transport Department.
